Easy to use - Indication in 25% steps - can be used with Nicad ,NIMH and Alkaline batteries.
Rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries work at slightly different voltages. The Energy Check's two scales allow accurate assessment of charge status for both types in a wide range of battery types.
LED indicators give battery energy levels in 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% categories.
3 year warranty.
Requires one 9V battery (included) - and yes, it can check the status of its own battery!

Use upper scale for rechargeable batteries, lower scale for non-rechargeable. NiMH cells can exceed their rated 1.2V during the very early stages of their discharge. This is indicated by the last 3 LEDs on the upper scale.

Ordered this instead of a competitors brand and must say that it is a simple and easy to use unit that works very well with all standard and rechargeable batteries, quick delivery of unit was a possitive too.
